ABOUT ME
H D Pelton is an award winning author who grew up in Central Arkansas, where he and his wife Paula currently reside. A veteran of the Vietnam conflict, he served in the U. S. Navy. After retiring as a welder from Union Pacific Railroad, he attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he double majored in English and Technical Writing. As a youth, his imagination was fired by works of Edgar Rice Burroughs and Jack London, sparking a secret passion to write. Encouragement from organizations like Ozark Writer’s League (OWL), and from authors like Dusty Richards, has resulted in short stories sprinkled throughout a number of anthologies and magazines. Current projects include novels of historical and contemporary fiction.
