My last book was LONG RANGE by C. J. Box. I really like his work and hope to meet him someday. I enjoy that his characters can be hero's while still having faults. Where his mind finds the situations to place his characters in amazes me.
The book previous to LONG RANGE was DON'T GO NEAR THE WATER by William Brinkley. It was not as good as the Movie I remember from years ago. A different style of writing and written to a very different audience. While I enjoyed the characters, it just wasn't in the style I like. It was like each chapter was a story in itself and they were loosely connected. But that's probably just me.
